We’re pleased to announce the release of CellFrog 1.1 which includes numerous upgrades and new features. The CellFrog 1.1 release is intended to offer increased levels of document and file collaboration, additional contact synchronization tools and an improved user interface for easier navigation and accessibility. Live Google Docs editing and collaboration
- Share and edit Google docs documents within the CellFrog conference dashboard. CellFrog allows users to directly connect to Google Docs enabling seamless connection to existing Google Docs documents. The Google Docs integration takes place on the conference dashboard which provides users the ability to share files, provide feedback and connect with other conference attendees. The editing experience takes place within the CellFrog conference dashboard and doesn’t require users to leave the collaborative interface.
Google Contact synchronization
- CellFrog now provides seamless synchronization with Google to enable easy access, management and organization of conference calls with your Google contacts. Simply use the ‘Google sync’ tool to connect your account with CellFrog and your contacts will be available immediately. The ‘Google sync’ tool works alongside our ‘Plaxo sync’ tool to provide thorough access to your network of contacts.
iCal integration
- CellFrog now utilizes iCal for all conference scheduling notifications. iCal is a file format that contains calendar usable data and is used to easily schedule and share event information. CellFrog conference attendees can now quickly add important conference calls to their local or web calendar.
User interface modifications
- New dropdown site navigation for easy accessibility to all that CellFrog offers
- Profile editor with only US time zones
- Email verification process
- Newly designed registration page
- Addition of [?] icons for quick mouseover assistance

CellFrog, a web 2.0 phone conferencing and collaboration service, adds iCal to its conference call organization and management tool.
iCal which is short for iCalendar, “is a computer file format which allows internet users to send meeting requests and tasks to other internet users, via email.”
iCal has been added to the conference scheduling tool which manages all notifications, confirmations and cancellations. Notification emails are sent to all selected attendees and contain conference call connection, confirmation and collaboration details.
Now, attendees are able to quickly and easily add CellFrog conference calls to their local or web calendar.
